CD Blog Assignment

For this final assignment we had to create a blog where express our inspirations and passions and certainly one of my main passions is with makeup.

To me they are not only paintings but rather an art form in the most perfect frame that is the human face. The makeup does enhance the beauty and as I said it makes me feel better and more confident about myself.

So in this blog I gathered some tips of how I do my makeup every day, some older that matched my outfits (often change the color of my hair) and also makeup tips for every skin type and how to prepare before makeup.
The result is in sight and despite the weight of knowing that this is a job, I was very happy during the process because I could search and develop best on this subject that in the end knew very little and it is very gratifying to know that makeup comes being used since thousands of years and that is always evolving for the better.

I tried to blog the most pleasant looking as possible, from the choice of colors such as music for those who visit it, can entertain a little.

The history of makeup is very wide and if I were to put everything would work a year, but I managed to disclose my passion for makeup and giving tips usefull as possible. As I  said this was very rewarding experience which made me take inspiration to create an account on youtube and put the same videos with the same tips, what will happen soon.

Makeup and self-image: how they differ or join?

The question recurs: makeup influences or not, our self-esteem?
Of course. Are  many people who say that natural is always better and real, which does not cease to be true but who never felt a huge difference when you put makeup first?'s Makeup makes our beauty enhancement  more and as a bonus disguises imperfections those who unfortunately could not hide.
When I put makeup I feel that I am  someone different, an alter-ego, much like when Clark Kent turns into Superman . Two different people  in one. When I put makeup, I feel more self-confident and sure professional manner, as if my face was a work of art almost equivalent to Mona Lisa.

Do not be afraid to make up as they like. Do not be afraid to use that lipstick color with the most extravagant or even use a more colorful shade to take home! Like it? Then use! After all we are not one to judge anyone!

People nowadays love to judge people and sometimes people who use too much makeup can be seen as   superficial (why to hide his face behind such a foundation, I bet this is what many think) but not there whenever we hear advice or opinions but do what you like.
Makeup  it much if that's what you really enjoy doing. The world will always talk but life will continue to move forward.

How to Prepare Your Skin For Make-Up

The pre-make it one of the most important stages of makeup. Prepare the skin before you make helps to better define the product and makes the makeup last longer in the face.

First of all, the first step is to wash, tone and moisturize the skin. This helps to remove impurities from the skin, control oil and balance the pH. "To receive the makeup, you should wash your face with soap suitable for your skin type, because with the make clean complexion will last longer. Thereafter, tone, moisturize and do not forget the sunscreen!" Indicates Marcos Costa Natura makeup.

With clean, toned and moisturized, it is time to use the primer that seals the pores, helps unify skin color and extends the life of makeup.

Reasons to Use Make-Up

Special occasions
When attending an important function as a job interview, applying some makeup just shows that you care about your appearance. If you take the time to choose the perfect suit and accessories to match, you will look unbalanced if you walk with a bare face. Makeup just adds the final touch to any outfit. If you are attending a work related function, not just remember the overload on cosmetics. You want people to notice your personality and work ethic before noticing your lipstick.

Melting Failures
It is true that makeup can not cover everything. However, a good concealer works wonders to cover minor flaws. No need to feel self-conscious about a small scar or defect when you know how to hide it properly. Just apply your foundation as you normally would. Then dab a small amount of concealer on the fault you wish to cover. No need to rub in the concealer, just dab the spot with your finger. The warmth of your finger will melt the concealer a little and make it blend. The trick to doing this correctly is to make sure you have the perfect shade of concealer.

Makeup is fun

However, often you apply makeup, just remember that cosmetics should be fun. Never let it turn into work. Makeup allows you to experiment with new looks without ever leaving your home. Furthermore, errors in makeup are very simple to fix. All you need is warm water and a good facial cleanser. If you apply cosmetics on a regular basis, remember to take care of your skin in the process. Always wash your face before going to bed at night and just before applying makeup. Never, under any circumstances, you should sleep in their composition.

Make-Up Is Art!

The makeup for aesthetic function was first used by the Egyptians who used khol and painted themselves in a very unique way. The trade of Egypt with other people took the makeup to Greece and Rome during Classical Antiquity. In Rome, Nero's wife, Poppaea Sabina, joined the use of makeup, making it popular. During this period the cosmetics were not yet so developed which made them quite risky, because they were too toxic and prolonged use caused poisoning and premature aging.

In the Middle Ages the makeup no longer valued, because the Church condemned their use: with the argument that cosmetic beauty created a false appearance of people and stir up the sin of lust. Only in the late Middle Ages, with the growth of boroughs, which apothecaries popularized the makeup again. In the Renaissance the use of cosmetics such as makeup and perfume became increasingly popular throughout Europe. Queen Catherine de Medici strongly adhered using cosmetics bringing fashion from Italy (his home country) to France (where he soon gained fame). Over the centuries the habit of makeup was increasingly common and accepted in society, especially in the higher classes.

Was with the industrial revolution (in the nineteenth century) and the film industry (during the early twentieth century) that cosmetics, especially the makeup became more accessible to all sections of society.

Nowadays, the use of makeup has been greatly valued. Mainly because of the development of new techniques in the industry and also for their ease of dissemination through the media. France and the United States are featured worldwide in the field.

Makeup Tricks to enhance the lips

Too thin, too thick or drooping lips: From little tricks you can achieve amazing results and make them more and seductive. See tips makeup artist Marcos Costa to enhance the shape of your lips and correct minor imperfections:

• Thick Lips - use colors of lipsticks that do not contrast with the tone of your skin. Example: fair-skinned women should wear lipsticks in bright, near skin tones. Brunettes should abuse the brown tones. The contour of the lips should be subtle and in the same color lipstick not to further increase the size of the lips.

• Thin lips - use lipsticks clear and vivid, preferably with glitter. The gloss is a great option. Avoid dark colors like brown, purple and wine, which tend to further decrease the lip. The lip pencil must be passed in order to extrapolate (somewhat) the natural contour to give the impression that the mouth is bigger.
• thinner upper lip than the lower, and vice versa - the guidelines are the same for both types of lips. The colors in these cases should also be light or glare. Use the pencil outline, preferably in the same color of lipstick or a more natural tone to increase the thinner lip and match it to the size of the largest lip.
• Lips fallen - choose a lipstick color that is not too dark and apply it throughout the mouth. Then lift the side with a careful drawing made with pencil outline of the mouth.

Hide freckles, blemishes and scars

Three products are essential: foundation, concealer and powder. The base serves to give a uniform skin tone, brightening darker (around the eyes and mouth) areas. The smooth and even skin asks transparent base, while the skin with pimples, scars, marks or stains requires opaque base. Choose one that is specific to your skin type and apply it with your fingers. The color of the stain has to be analyzed before the fix to know the color of concealer to use. To cover larger volume and marks, use a brush that will apply the concealer in the exact spot. The final touch is the dust. He will lay the foundation and concealer, control the brightness of the skin and extend the life of your makeup.
